STASIA BROADWATER, graduated from Pratt Institute in 1994, with a
Bachelor of Architecture and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of
Maryland, School of Law, in 1997. In law school, Attorney Broadwater served
as class president, was an associate editor to the Business Lawyer, a
quarterly journal of the American Bar Association, and interned in South
Africa with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Legal Resources
Centre advocating on behalf of indigent persons and prisoners. Attorney
Broadwater currently represents public and private owners, developers,
contractors and suppliers before federal and state courts and in agency
proceedings, including bid protests and debarment and suspension
proceedings. She has extensive experience negotiating and litigating
construction, design and insurance/surety claims and in drafting complex
construction, supply and R&D contracts. Attorney Broadwater is a member of
the State Bar of Georgia and Maryland and the District of Columbia Bar.
Attorney Broadwater is a member of the Gate City Bar Association; Atlanta
Bar Association (Construction Law Section); American Bar Association,
Construction Forum, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Attorney Broadwater
practices in the Governmental and Design/Construction Law Groups.
