CHRISTOPHER PORTIS, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, graduated with honors from Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2003. Attorney Portis earned his Juris Doctor in 2006 from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. While in law school, Attorney Portis served as the Student Advocate on the Honor Council and as an associate member on the Alternative Dispute and Resolution Board. Attorney Portis interned at the Fulton County State Court for two years in the chambers of Chief Judge A. L. Thompson. Attorney Portis also served as interim staff attorney for Judge Myra Dixon of the Fulton County State Court. Attorney Portis remains active in the community through the Archdiocese of Atlanta, and in 2005 served as Deputy Campaign Finance Manager for Lisa M. Borders, Atlanta City Council President. Attorney Portis is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and he practices in the General Litigation,  Business and Estate Planning Groups. In October 2008, Attorney Portis was appointed as a Fulton County Magistrate Judge.
